After watching the Maze Runner and deciding that is was one of my favorite movies, I knew I had to watch The Scorch Trials.
Although Dylan O' Brian, is not my favorite actor he definitely did a wonderful job in the Maze Runner. I sat down yesterday and finally decided to watch The Scorch Trials. I was so excited, thinking that this was going to be even better than the Maze Runner. I don't know what I was expecting, but it was definitely something better than what I saw. As the movie started, I lost interest quick. It was so slow paced and I couldn't really get into it. Of course moments like; a crank landing on top of Newt caught my eye. Because, I'd heard about him dying in the book. Or the moment when they escaped. But, everything just seemed to go down hill from there. I read the Scorch Trials book by James Dashner and it was really intriguing and exciting. But, the movie did not follow through with the book and it became very boring to me. I think Wes Ball tried too hard this time. Being a Maze Runner fan, I was more than disappointed with the outcome of the story and I would never watch it again. My rating for this movie, that doesn't even deserve to be in the top 100 for movies of 2015? I give it a solid four out of ten. James Rocchi from, 'The Wrap' stated; "The only 'Trial' offered by this film is the ordeal of watching it." Which, I totally agree with. :D The trailer for the Scorch Trials looked so interesting and had me so hype to watch it. If for some reason, you decide to watch this movie, I'll leave the trailer below. Make sure to tell me what you though of The Scorch Trials. Maybe, you have a different opinion then mine.
